Artistic Context

I was selected by Dakkan Festival in Antwerp to create an on-site performance during an artist residency at the Blikfabriek. In a series of roof workshops I collaborated with local people of all kinds and created a new dance performance in which the roof plays a central role. Confrontation, identity and loneliness are the main themes.

Synopsis

iD it is a game performance with a group of people of all ages in an elevated location away from the city that brings us to take a stand on seemingly simple issues and to reflect on who we are.
